A zero day is always MUCH appreciated by my body but the downside is that there are no interesting pictures to share!
We mostly ate and rested today! We made arrangements for our ride back to the trailhead tomorrow. We had our clothes washed for us by the lady here at the inn. I even rinsed my Tyvek groundcloth (best gear item ever, can be rain protection too).
We went to the coffee shop in the morning and each had 3 trips to the grocery store (cravings!). We are caught up on emails and I even watched some Netflix. Had coffee and chocolate.
Now we are ready to hit the trail again! The next section will be roughly 70 miles from Chinook Pass to Snoqualmie Pass!
The Packwood Inn was comfortable and the owners really accommodating to hikers. As before, workers who stay here and leave before 6am really don’t give a sh… about being considerate and quiet but that has been my experience in other places too.
A zero day is incomplete without coffee and chocolate! You will probably know of the best coffee shops across the west.
Haha yes that might be true! There is an espresso cart outside here at Snoqualmie Pass and it’s calling my name …
